Smith Marion is looking for a permanent part-time administrative assistant to join the team in our Lake Arrowhead office. The position requires 15-20 hours per week, with a flexible or structured schedule depending on business needs. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
Responsibilities:
• Assist full time admin staff – Take on tasks to assist the admin staff in the Lake Arrowhead office and throughout the firm as needed.

• Assist full time admin staff – Take on tasks to assist the admin staff in the Lake Arrowhead office and throughout the firm as needed.
- Field inbound communications - Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Liaise with visitors - Greet clients and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Set up appointments for tax preparers - Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings.
- Assist in tax processes – Become proficient in our tax software and provide support to the tax preparation team with required administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Positive, high-energy attitude
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
- Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
